Michael S. Weber, Iowa State ’06, named Director of Expansion & Recruitment

Michael S. WeberAcacia is also excited to announce the addition of Michael S. Weber, Iowa State ’06, to the Headquarters staff as Director of Expansion & Recruitment. In his short time with Acacia so far, Brother Weber has been a leader at both the chapter and International level. As an active member, Brother Weber served as Venerable Dean during his chapter’s Centennial Celebration in 2009, in addition to serving terms as Secretary, Chaplain and Junior Steward. Michael served the Government of the Student Body as Speaker and Vice Speaker of the Senate and was recognized by the Vice President of Student Affairs with the Above and Beyond Award. At Acacia’s 55th Biennial Conclave, Brother Weber was elected to a two-year term as Undergraduate Counselor on the International Council.

Acacia has recognized Brother Weber’s achievements with the 2011 Roy C. Clark Award, the Order of Pythagoras Award, and the George F. Patterson, Jr. Scholarship.

Brother Weber is originally from Ames, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University in May 2011 with a B.S. in Family , Finance, Housing and Policy.

Says Brother Weber, "I want to continue to expanding our Fraternity to more campuses, as well as help our current chapters and colonies excel at recruiting great new Acacians. Acacia has been such a big part of my life, and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to give back and continue to have it be a part of my life."
