The Acacia Fraternity Foundation (AFF), founded in 1989, is Acacia Fraternity's non-profit educational foundation. A 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the AFF exists to provide scholarships to student Acacians and to support the worthy educational and leadership activities of the fraternity.

The Hypotenuse

Located in the Alumni Induction Ceremony of The Ritual is the following, “Completing the triangle, the hypotenuse symbolizes alumnus membership, the longest portion and the part that completes and closes the whole.” Our alumni are a critical component for the success of our chapters. Our hopes for the new year is to expand our communication footprint.

We will endeavor to focus on items of interest to the Foundation, including but not limited to; Exceptional (Annual) Fund updates and various promotional material, how funds are utilized and their impact, highlights of alumni, and scholarship recipients, along with occasional testimonials of Acacians of what made their fraternity experience so unique. The Hypotenuse is designed to augment the Fraternity’s current e-newsletter, The Crest.

While observing the Ritual being performed this past year, I was cheerfully reminded just how brilliantly the Acacia Ritual is constructed. Motivational, educational, challenging, suspenseful, inspirational, and when done correctly, everlasting. May The Hypotenuse be a vivid reminder to our alumni of the past, present, and a motivation for future opportunities.

Announcing the Exceptional Fund

The Exceptional Fund (formerly known as the Annual Fund) directs 70% of your contribution for current funding priorities and 30% will be go to restricted and/or unrestricted funds. Please choose the fund or funds of your choosing.
